Greetings, I am Joshua Fields, a graphic designer, artist, and a creative thinker. I was born and raised in Rancho Cordova, California. A graduate of the Art Institute of Sacramento, California with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design, I have been involved in design work since early 2010. I started as a freelance designer while in school and converted to being an in-house designer for various companies. My portfolio consists of a variety of liberal and conservative designs (every company/clients has different needs that I am proud to adapt to). My experience ranges from a spiritual mineral company (VibesUP) to the banking giant Goldman Sachs.
I do not shy away from taking risks in design work, but also feel confident in following quality control protocols when requested. I pride myself as being self-motivated/goal-driven. I also consider myself agile-minded and can switch gears quickly when needed for certain projects. When I am not designing I like to read history books (I am currently on a Civil War kick). I was lucky enough to marry my best friend in September of 2016, and we are in the process of starting a family. She is my life, and I am happy to have her support in my career.
My goal for employment is to work for a company that provides a great creative environment, as well as an opportunity to excel. I enjoy feedback from my directors and have a significant experience working in teams, but I also appreciate the ability to work independently when appropriate.
