Challenge: The Rudolf Nureyev Memorial Foundation requested an identity that will capture the beauty and elegance of Rudolf Nureyev’s performances, without sacrificing the strength and personality of the man.
Solution: Creating a strong yet elegant mark required
research into the dance style of Rudolf Nureyev’s performances and how his body is elongated when presented in his soft and natural form. These traits of Rudolf’s are both represented through the typeface choice (Veyey Regular) and the created
identity mark. This produced an identity that truly represents him and his life’s work.
